Change

As we sit on the cusp of the New Year, let us give thanks that we are alive and well at the end of such a tumultous year. As we move forward, I want you to think about the following:

“The more we change , the more we stay the same” - that is an actual saying but I don’t believe it to be true.

Changes, especially positive ones, can lead to tremendous growth, success and evolution into a better version of yourself. For this New Year, I don’t want you to resolve to lose weight, get healthier and get fitter. I want you resolve to change. Replace one not so good habit with a better one.

A few examples would be:

  • Drink more water per day

  • Do 30 minutes of active exercise (walking, strength, yoga, etc.) per day

  • Get 7-8 hours sleep per night

  • Decrease your added sugar intake

Start with the first example and do it for the first week, then add in the second one for the second week and so on, until you have reached the end of January. Those 4 simple changes will have you feeling better by the end of January. You may also be a little lighter as well.

From there, you can add in more small changes, one week at a time. If you want help with staying on track with fitness, I am offering virtual training.

Wishing you all a Happy and Prosperous New Year. May 2021 see you achieving your goals.

Andre
